Wednesday-Friday, November 30-December 2, 2022  |  12 CEUs

The winter season invites us to slow down, to turn inward and embrace rest. Many of us are re-evaluating our relationship todoing, seeking to experience morebeingand to prioritize joy and wholeness. At the same time, we feel with greater urgency the need to contribute to the wellbeing of our communities, but not at the cost of our own.

This Circle of Trust®retreat for women, is an opportunity to tap into the support available within the resources of community and a more restful way of being.

Together, we will immerse ourselves in the wisdom and metaphors of the winter season, face the realities of our individual and collective shadows, and gather courage to continue to weather the challenges of our times and emerge with greater clarity, integrity and resilience.

Participants in this retreat will:

  • Access imagination, artistic expression, and other contemplative practices to envision and embody the wholeness of a future we long to call home.

  • We will build a trustworthy space for telling our truths and listening to the truths of others while exploring our inner sources of leadership.

  • Participate in a Clearness Committee designed after a problem-solving model from the 1600’s, and integrate old wisdom and new science.

Let Us Prepare for Winter
by Michael Leunig

Let us prepare for winter.
The sun has turned away from us
and the nest of summer hangs broken
in a tree.
Life slips through our fingers and,
as darkness gathers, our hands grow cold.
It is time to go inside.
It is time for reflection and resonance.
It is time for contemplation.
Let us go inside.

Who is this retreat for? This retreat is open to all people who identify as women and may be especially relevant for those in leadership from diverse fields. We may not be ‘leaders’ by job title, but women often are called to lead on a regular basis within our families, communities, and in organizations. Ultimately, this retreat is for women interested in exploring and strengthening their capacity for care of self and community and for those seeking to find clarity, courage and resilience within themselves.
