Hello! My name is Michelle and I am a health and wellness coach and fitness instructor in Tacoma, WA. I personally struggled with binge eating, yo-yo dieting, and food/health obsession for over 8 years and ended that struggle about 5 years ago.
Since then, I’ve developed a process based on my own personal experience, working hands-on with clients, and mentoring with some amazing coaches and health experts – which I’ve now used to help over a dozen men and women (ages 15-75) go from years or even decades of struggling with binge eating, overeating, and emotional eating, to ending binge eating and creating a healthy and positive relationship with food, their bodies, and exercise.
I have been a fitness coach for 7 years now, but began my practice as a coach specializing in binge-eating in 2021 when I realized that many of my clients were suffering with some of the same struggles with food that I did when I was struggling with binge eating.
My goal with every client is to help them get to a place where they feel confident that they will never binge again, and that they have the ability to consistently and sustainably care for their health in a way that’s peaceful, joyful, and fun. Because of my work as both a fitness coach and life coach, as well as my experience overcoming binge eating myself, I am able to help my clients in a unique way that includes support with eating and exercise, but also with fulfilling their bigger purpose in life.
I find that the key to ending binge eating forever (as opposed to just managing it for the rest of your life) is to fill the hole that binge eating used to fill with a fulfilling and purposeful life. So, I teach my clients to practice a growth mindset, create empowering beliefs, let go of blame and the victim-mentality, and create a life they truly love.
My method is out-of-the-box, and not for everyone – but it consistently works for my clients who have been searching for a system that offers a practical, highly personalized, empowering, and down-to-earth method with support from someone who has been where they are and gotten through it. I will not coach you as a victim. I will coach you as the powerful and wonderful human you are.
